New York, April 29: North America Telugu Association (NATA) in association with Telugu Literary and Cultural Association (TLCA) of New York conducted a free medical and health check up camp in New York. The camp was conducted at the Sai Baba temple in Flushing, New York on the 29th, informed Mr. Vikram Jangam from NATA in a press-release.

Doctors who participated in the free health camp gave advice to about 210 patients. Most of the patients had no health insurance. Patients had free blood glucose monitoring and blood sugar testing and check up to diagnose diabetes. All the patients were given dietary counseling. Physical examination was conducted and medications were reviewed by the physicians.

Flushing hospital has scheduled appointments for free Mammogram and Free Colonoscopy screening at the health camp.

Sai Baba temple administration lead by Kamath, Narasimha Rao and Nand Kumar provided immense help including arrangements for patients and food for volunteers and physicians.

Medical camp was conducted under the NY NATA TEAM in association with TLCA.
Several students volunteered their time for the community service and received certificate of appreciation from NATA.
