Actor Surya’s brother, ‘Yuganiki Okkadu’ and ‘Aawara’ fame Karthi is a multi-talented hero who even dubbed his own voice of ‘Aawara’ in Telugu. This young and dynamic actor appears to be having a different taste when it comes to hobbies. He had recently adopted a white tiger cub from Vandalur Zoo in Chennai.

The feeding of cub for the first six months has to be done very carefully. Hence he paid Rs 77,000/- to the zoo authorities as a feeding cost. He says, “I’ve a passion for forests and forest animals. I’ve seen many forests in our country but I’ve never seen a white tiger so far. For the first time I saw the white tiger in Vandalur zoo along with my brother’s daughter Diya. She was also thrilled to see the white tiger. I can never forget the moments Diya experienced when she saw the white tiger. That is why I decided to adopt one for her.”
