The shooting of ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ is at brisk progress. Featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna as Sri Rama, Nayantara as Sita, Srikanth as Lakshmana, Tarakaram as Bharath, Nagababu as Sri Anjaneya and Akkineni Nageswara Rao as Valmiki, the film is being crafted by none other than the veteran cartoonist cum director Bapu. Recently, a few scenes were canned on Nageswara Rao and Nayantara. One of the scenes that was shot recently was Seeta arriving the hermitage of Valmiki. A part of the song was also picturised on a special set that was erected at Sivarla in Hyderabad.
According to producer Yalamanchi Saibabu, ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ would remain forever in the history of mythological films. The film depicts Sri Rama’s kingdom and his ruling. Ilayaraja completed the recording of all songs.
