Apr 07, 2011
Ram Gopal Varma has announced his next film titled ‘Oka Prema Katha’ that would hit floors very soon. The story of this film is based on the real life incident that occurred on May 7th, 2008, in Mumbai. The incident is such that a girl named Maria Susai Raj and her lover brutally killed a person and chopped his body into pieces and burnt it with kerosene and threw the ashes in the outskirts.

Now Ram Gopal Varma is planning a bilingual film in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously based on this story. ‘Dev D’ fame Mahi Gill was chosen to do the role of Maria Susairaj. Other cast in the film will be announced shortly.

Ram Gopal Varma in his press note said, “This is the most scary murder I have ever heard off. In regard to this case I met their friends, relatives, policemen, investigators, lawyers, etc. I was shocked to know from them how unbelievable love story was behind this brutal murder. Love has led two of them to murder. Love made the dead body into pieces. Love has led them to the cruelty. This love story has come from a heart but this film is definitely not for the weak hearted persons.”
