We are aware that playback singer K S Chitra’s 9 year old daughter Nandana died last year in a mishap at Dubai. Now the singer has launched a trust ‘Snehanandana Charitable Trust’ named after her late daughter Nandana. This trust is to find and help the poor and ailing musicians in the Malayalam film industry. Those who are bed-ridden and are struggling for their daily bread and medicines will be taken care of by this trust. The organizers of the trust are also fecilitating the deserving people a monthly pension of Rs 3,000/-.
