Kamal Haasan is known for his risk taking capabilities in the movies. He has been an example for using new techniques in his films. One such film was ‘Abhay’ which was about a serial killer. Though this film bombed at box-office it has a very special significance. Yes, a Hollywood personality got inspired by certain part of this film. He is none other than director Quentin Tarantino, who directed movies like ‘Kill Bill’, ‘Pulp Fiction’ and ‘Inglorious Bastards’. He was inspired by ‘Abhay’ and used the techniques in ‘Kill Bill’. Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap came to know of this through some critics and he was quick to querry the same from Quentin Tarantino who he met recently in Vennice. Quentin did not mince words and was quick to say ‘Yes, I did it”. Kamal Haasan also expressed his happiness in his techniques being used in a Hollywood flick.
