The theme song of Sarangapani Jathakam is enjoyable. Ram Miriyala's joyous vocals complement the easily engaging lyrics by Ramajogayya Sastry. The lines reflect the coming-of-age nature of Priyadarshi's character. Vivek Sagar's music has vivid Maestro Ilaiyaraaja influences.
The family-friendly comedy entertainer, directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti, will hit the cinemas on April 25th.
Roopa Koduvayur (heroine), VK Naresh, Tanikella Bharani, Avasarala Srinivas, Vennela Kishore (the male lead's friend), Viva Harsha, Sivannarayana, Ashok Kumar, Raja Chembolu, Vadlamani Srinivas (the male lead's father), Pradeep Rudra, Ramesh Reddy, Kalpalatha, Roopa Lakshmi, Harshini, KLK Mani, and 'IMAX' Venkat play different roles in the movie. The last few of these will be cameos.
The film centers on the protagonist's staunch belief in an astrological prediction. "All that the film tries to say is what happens when you obsess with imposing it on others. The film, as such, is neutral. It doesn't take a biased stand," Priyadarshi recently said. Sarangapani Jathakam is produced by Sridevi Movies' Mohanakrishna Indraganti.
