The Telugu version of Vikram’s Bilingual Bheema, by Sri Surya Movies, was launched at Necklace road on April 27th. Following which a press meet was arranged by producer A.M.Ratnam. The film’s cast and crew were present on the occasion.

Hero Vikram said “My character in Bheema is a very promising one. There is a lot of scope for performance, even though this is an action oriented film. I had to train my body for six months to suit my role in ‘Bheema’. This film will be a violent commercial film made in a stylish way. Nana Patekar has a vital role in the movie”

Speaking about Hindi film actor Nana Patekar, director Linguswamy said “Though Nana Patekar was offered many South Indian films previously, ‘Bheema’ is the first film he has agreed to do. It was Vikram who convinced him to do this film. Nana Patekar will himself dub for his role in both Telugu and Tamil, because he feels his voice is the strength behind his success.”

“I have previously produced blockbusters like ‘Dhool’ and ‘Run’ with Vikram and Linguswamy, respectively.” said producer A.M.Ratnam “’Bheema’s Mahurat was held in Chennai a couple of days ago. From today the film’s regular shooting will start. Between May1st and 10th some scenes between Vikram and Trisha will be shot. Later on a couple of chasing scenes will be shot at Vizag. Harris Jayaraj is composing six songs for the film. We are planning to release the film for Diwali this year.”
