Sekhar Kammula’s much awaited summer release Godavari will be premiered at Prasads IMAX theater so that the film’s cinematography will be shown to advantage, the film director Sekhar Kammula informed at a press meet held on 15th May. Producer G.V.G.Raju and hero Sumanth also present at the meet. The premier is expected to be attended by many film celebrities and media personnel in addition to 300 people from the audiences.

Incidently Godavari is the only summer release so far which has been awarded a U certificate by the censor board. The film has already been screened, sans re-recording and sound mixing, for a select audience and has received a very positive response. A beaming director Sekhar Kammula said that this is the kind of film that is a rarity, that this film will be a land mark film in the Telugu film industry.
