Veteran producer D. Ramanidu promised to donate Rs 5 Lakhs to Film Critics Association. Ramanaidu is a philanthropist and indulges in heavily charity work. He has also promised journalists some land for long time but he has finally given Rs 5 Lakhs to the welfare of film journalists.

Ramanaidu also said that it is dream to produce films in all languages of India and by the next year, he wishes to fulfill it. Ramanaidu considers "Prem Nagar" is the best film he has produced in his long career which bailed him out financially and strengthened his reputation as top filmmaker.
