Director Uday Shankar had to pack up early on March 16th when an unfortunate incident led to the death of a junior artist. While shooting a scene near Rajahmundry at the Godavari river, heroine Anushka had to push junior artist Mahendra, who was playing the dupe for Ravi Teja, into the river. As the scene took place Mahendra did not reach the water surface and consequently efforts were made to recover the body. Mahendra’s body was found later the same evening. It was later learnt that Mahendra did not know swimming. The film’s unit has been brought back to Hyderabad while only few members from the production house, Suresh Productions, stayed back to look over the issues along with the police.
