Dasari Narayana Rao who entered into Guiness Book of World Records for directing the most number of films, later had joined the politics and became the MP. After that he became the Union Minister at the Centre. But recently he was thrown out of the cabinet while changing the ministers.

According to sources, Dasari is now planning to make a comeback into films by making an announcement on May 4th, on his birthday, about the projects that he will act, direct as well produce. It seems that he is sincerely trying to acquire the remake rights of the Tamil super hit film ‘Thavamai Thavamirindhu’, as he is more keen to do the role done by actor cum director Rai Kiran. Raj Kiran is said to have many won awards and rewards for that dominant role in the Tamil version.
