After the successful public meeting held on August 26th at Tirupathi, the actor turned politician and the President of Praja Rajyam, Chiranjeevi is all set to campaign in a special bus (Chariot). He will begin his tour in the first week of September and cover all 23 districts before he winds up the election campaign for the 2009 assembly elections.
Tirupathi meeting experience has made the organizers become more cautious and to take every step carefully in handling the masses during his tour and not to repeat the earlier mistakes. But there is no clue about how Chiru will address the gatherings as he keeps moving from one place to another.
Chiranjeevi will tour all over the state starting from coastal districts where Kapu communities mostly exist. Later he will also tour Telengana, indeed a sensitive area for him since lot of comments from various politicians have cropped up stating that he has not given a clear cut idea on the burning issue of separate Telengana in the agenda narrated by him.
Yet another important point to be noted here is that although Chiru launched his party in the temple town of Rayalaseema, YSR belongs to Cudappah and CBN to Chittoor. So here we can observe that there are two current political leaders hailing from Rayalaseema. As there are chances for more split votes in this district, it’s unpredictable about Chiru overtaking YSR and CBN in Rayalaseema.
The analysts say Chiru’s party may change the history of Andhra Pradesh politics. NTR created a history by coming into power within nine months of his party launch. Can Chiru repeat this magic?
