Krishnudu’s Vinayakudu is getting a publicity in a different way. The movie which hit the theatres yesterday has been objected for its screening by Hindu political parties like Bhajarang Dal and ABVP which are not that strong in Andhra Pradesh. Their main objection is on the name of the Hindu God given to a movie which is not a devotional one. Apart from staging dharna and rioting by breaking the glasses of Rajadhani theatre in Dilshuknagar, they also registered a police complaint in Saroornagar police station. But the producer Prem Kumar Patra and director Sai Kiran Adivi have other thing to say. They questioned these outfits about their late reaction eight months after the official announcement of the title and the story. But if censor board matters are to be believed they used their scissors on some bed scenes involving Ankita and L2L scenes involving Poonam Kaur and a debutant Surya Teja. While they gave importance to eyes they seem to have ignored ears as some English words are liberally used in this movie conveying certain objectionable meanings. This being the situation the act of these Hindu outfits appears sensible, but that should have happened by Gandhigiri rather than Dhadhagiri.
