Super fame Ayesha Takia, who married her boy-friend Farhan Azmi, will now adopt her husband’s second name and henceforth be addressed as Ayesha Azmi. Ayesha, whom we normally see in western outfits, looked stunning in her traditional wedding finery with her head covered with a dupatta. The Nikah was performed on Sunday at 9:30 pm at Koyla, a restaurant in Colaba owned by Farhan.

Ayesha’s mother, Faridah, was too happy about her daughter’s nikah, therefore shared few words with local media in Mumbai. She said, “There wouldn’t be any change in Ayesha's life-style even after her wedding. Although she is a family person Ayesha will continue to wear the western outfits as she finds it more comfortable. I’m happy that she chose Farhan. We all liked him during the first meet and we treat him like our own son”.

On questioning about Ayesha's continuity in films, Faridah said, “It’s too early for her to call it a day. She has just started and has a long way to go”.
