At last the day has come when Mahesh Babu painted grease on his face to shoot for his new film. Yes! Today, the 25th of March, 2009, Mahesh Babu’s film under Trivikram Srinivas's direction went on to sets at Annapoorna Studios, the first being the romantic shot on Mahesh Babu and Anushka at a specially designed bedroom set. This schedule might last for three weeks after which the unit will move on to Nasik followed by Kerala.

The film is produced by Singanamala Ramesh under Kamakshi Movies banner. Sunil Patel is handling the camera while Mahesh Babu’s favourite music director Mani Sharma is composing the tunes. For Mahesh fans who were eagerly waiting for his movie to start for more than a year or so, must be really feeling high to hear the news of their hero’s movie being kicked off.
