Senior make-up man Meduri Ramesh passed away on Sunday morning at his residence. He was 76. Hailing from Gudiwada he stepped into film field in 1960 as make-up man. He worked as a permanent make-up man for the senior actor Gummadi Venkateswara Rao. That apart, he also worked as personal make-up man for mega star Chiranjeevi, super star Rajinikanth and rebel star Krishnam Raju. He also worked as a make-up chief for Prasad Art Pictures, Roja Movies and Kranthi Chitra banners. One could find atleast 80 make-up men including AM Ratnam, Siva, Jaya Krishna, Krishna, etc., in today’s Tollywood, who were trained by him.

Meduri Ramesh is survived by his son, three daughters. His elder son-in-law Jyothindranath is the director. Ragalahari prays for his soul to rest in peace.
