Siddarth is one of the most talented actors who was introduced to the film industry by S Shankar through ‘Yuva’. Later he shot to fame in Tollywood with ‘Nuvvosthanante Nenodhantana’ and in Bollywood with ‘Rang De Basanthi’. Although he is involved in Tollywood as a hero with quite a few films to his credit, he could not stand firm in Bollywood with his recent flop ‘Striker’.

Now the talent of this young actor was recognized by Shyam Benegal, the critically acclaimed director in Bollywood. Shyam Benegal, who is known for making traditional narrative films is said to have selected Siddarth as the hero in his new film. This movie is likely to hit the sets very soon. On other hand, Siddu is presently busy with two films, ‘Bava’ and a socio-fantasy flick under Raghavendra Rao’s production. This apart he has also signed a bilingual film for his mentar P Jayendra.
