Sri Nandamuri Balakrishna, MLA, Hindupuram Assembly; Chairman, Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Cine Star has celebrated his 61 st Birthday amidst children fighting with cancer today at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute premises.After reaching cancer hospital, Sri N Balakrishna paid homage to Late Sri & Smt Nandamuri Basavataraka Rama Rao by garlanding their statues. Later he had distributed fruits to elderly patients and sweets along with gifts to children fighting the cancer. On this occasion, he also distributed groceries to housekeeping and security staff of hospital.
Later speaking on the occasion, Sri Balakrishna appreciated efforts of his fans, who were standing in forefront to help the society by organizing several social, service oriented projects and programs. While appreciating the efforts of cancer hospital in providing quality cancer care to those fighting with cancer, Sri Balakrishna had thanked all those supporting the institution directly or indirectly. Further speaking on the occasion, Sri Balakrishna hoped said that as per wishes of Late Sri and Smt Nandamuri Basavataraka Rama Rao, the hospital will continue to be number one cancer care facility in India.
He thanked all the contributors and donors especially former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu,who stood like a rock in getting requisite funds from various sources. With all these wishes despite growthin age, he started feeling younger day by day with the love and affection showed by people.
Sri Balakrishna also appealed to people to get vaccinated by revealing that he himself got vaccinated earlier without any issue. He asked them to set aside the fear and get vaccinated as early as possible and urged to continue the life by taking all COVID precautions.On this occasion, Sri Nandamuri Balakrishna received 1 lac rupees donation from Sri Sitarama Raju and Sri
Abburi Sekhar. He also received 2,22,222 rupees from www.manabalaiah.com, a portal run by fans of Sri Nandamuru Balakrishna. Further Sri Rudraraju Sree Rama Raju and Family has donated Rs.14.40 lakhs towards daily food distributions to poor patients in the hospital. Later Sri Radha Krishna from Narsipatnam of Vishakapatnam district has donated 3 oxygen concentrators to the hospital through the hands of Sri Nandamuri Balakrishna.
