An Appreciation meet, for the super successful Sri Ramadaasu, was held on the 3rd of April at Prasad Labs Preview Theater and was attended by most of the film's unit with the exception of heroine Sneha, Padma Bushan awardee Chiranjeevi, Tabu and Actor/ Producer Murali Mohan were the guests for the evening.

"After watching Sri Ramadaasu I could not find words to describe my feeling, to Nagarjuna and Raghavendra Rao. I was so filled with emotion that my heart felt heavy. I told them that the movie was very good, later in the evening". An excited Chiranjeevi said "Previously when 'Annamayya' was announced I felt that I could do that role and wanted to do it, but could not because of date problems. But after seeing 'Sri Ramadasu' I felt that only Nagarjuna could have done the role of Sri Ramadaasu. It is amazing to watch him as a youth in 'Super' and then portray such a powerful character, in 'Sri Ramadaasu', while maintaining the same hair style in both the movies. 'Sri Ramadaasu' will remain one of the greatest film to be ever made in the Telugu film Industry".

Speaking of Chiranjeevi Nagarjuna, who started his speech with the chant "Jai Sri Ram", said, after watching the film Chiranjeevi asked us to call him for the press meet so that he can share his feelings. But the biggest compliment came from my son Akhil who said that he would dream of Rama after watching this film. The credit for the success of 'Sri Ramadaasu' goes to Bharavi, Keeravani and K. Raghavendra Rao. Bharavi came up with a great script. Keeravani injected emotions with his music. And Raghavendra Rao did his home work very well. He completed the song "Nannu Brovamani Cheppave", in just one and a half day when I thought that it will take at least 5 days to complete its shoot. While doing this film I learned a lot about our Telugu culture, speaking about the film's success he continued "The film opened to a great response. Kids, especially, liked it a lot. For them it was like the Ramayana and Mahabharata, which they read about, coming alive on the screen".

Actor\ Producer Murali Mohan had his share of compliments to give "The moment 'Sri Ramadaasu' was announced, I knew that it would be a hit. He(Nagarjuna) proved everybody's doubt wrong with his performance in 'Annamayya'. In this film he has given a spell bounding performance. In the present scenario of only social films, Nagarjuna got a chance to do a devotional film. Earlier actors like NTR, ANR and Nagayya were considered lucky for being able to do all genres of films. I saw Jesus in his performance and I request Nagarjuna to do the role of Jesus in K. Raghavendra Rao's direction. K. Raghavendra Rao proved again that he is capable of delivering great films if provided with good scripts. I am jealous of Konda Krishnam Raju, because I did not get to produce this film".

Tabu, who started her film career with a Raghavendra Rao film said "I am amazed with the variety of subjects he(Raghavendra Rao) selects. My friend Nag did the role of 'Sri Ramadaasu' very convincingly".

"I was very afraid to do my role in 'Sri Ramadaasu' as my Telugu has Godavari accent". Comedian Sunil said "but Raghavendra Rao told me to by recite my dialogues the same way a kid recollects by hearted lines and Bharavi also took special care during my dubbing".
