The shooting of S.P.Creations banner's, Jagapathi Babu, Neha Oberoi starrer Brahmastram is progressing at a brisk pace. The film, directed by Surya Kiran and produced by N. Surya Prakash Rao, is presently shooting at locations in and around Hyderabad. At a press meet the film's cast and crew spoke about their roles and the film.
Hero Jagapathi Babu said "With my long beard and unruly hair I probably look like I am playing the role of a mentally challenged person but that is not the case. My role is that of a guy who has been estranged from the world, Who has been held captive for a long time and does not know what the outside world is like or what is happening there".
"The story is unfolding, on screen, in the same way that the director narrated it to me", said producer N. Surya Prakash Rao. "Jagapathi Babu's role is very interesting. We will complete the talkie part of the film in a couple of days and by the month end three songs will be canned. The post production work will begin in May and we are planning to release the film by the end of May".
Director Surya Kiran spoke "Though the film is based on a mother's sentiment, love and action were also given equal importance." Surya Kiran also handled the story and screen play of the film.
Heroine Neha Oberoi, and actors M.S.Narayana and Kalabhavanmani also spoke on the occasion.
