As reported earlier the Telugu audio of India’s first full length 2-D animation film, Hanuman, was launched by Allu Arjun at the State Art Gallery in Kavuri Hills today, 1st August, morning. While the film’s presenter Sharat Marar, Producer Challa Manmohan and artist Uttej looked on Allu Arjun presented the first cassette to music director Devi Sri Prasad.

“I wanted to join the animation field before I became an actor” chief guest Allu Arjun said after appreciating all the technicians involved in the making of Hanuman “I am happy to have released the audio on a Tuesday which is Hanuman’s favorite day of the week.”

“Hanuman is the first full length animation film to be released in Telugu” Presenter Sharat Marar said “Hanuman is also the first audio release for Times Music which has bought the music rights of this film. Chiranjeevi shares an amazing connection with kids and that is one of the reasons we chose him to do the voice over for Hanuman’s character. And we chose Allu Arjun to release the audio for he would have been a professional animator if he had not become an actor first”

Well known dubbing artist and actor Uttej, who lent his voice for Sugreeva’s character and also supervised the dubbing of Hanuman into the Telugu language said of the megastar “Chiranjeevi worked with through professionalism for three whole days to complete the dubbing for Hanuman’s character. It is difficult to dub for a character after the animation has been completed but Chiranjeevi did it with aplomb. He is a huge devotee of Hanuman, that is a well known fact, but what is not known is that Chiranjeevi is also well versed with our Mythologies. When one Ram keerthana was being used in the film Chiranjeevi pointed out that Ram Keerthanas were written a few hundred years ago while Ramayana took place thousands of years ago.”

“Hanuman is a Megastar of sorts” guest and music director Devi Sri Prasad said “Hanuman can do action, comedy and a variety of other emotions. He is the favorite god for kids. The title song of this film is absolutely wonderful”

Producer Challa Manmohan was all praises “It was Chiranjeevi’s involvement that has got this film the kind of publicity it required and the kind of response it received. Where Sharat Marar helped with the branding and also got Times to buy the music rights, Allu Arvind helped us a lot with the film’s distribution”

Bhuvana Kruti, a young girl, hosted the function and also sang a song from the film’s album.
