The audio of Vishal (of Pandem Kodi fame) and Shriya Reddy's Pogaru, the Telugu dubbed version of Vishal's hit Tamil film Thimiru ,directed by Tharun Gopi, was released at Hotel Fortune Katriya on 8th October by R. P. Patnaik. Produced in Telugu by G.K.Reddy, has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Vishal, R.P. Patnaik, Kamna Jetmalani, Navaneet Kaur, Shriya Reddy, Smita, Vennelakanti, Kandikonda, Bharati Babu, Mayuri Subhakar and Aditya Dayananad were present on the occasion.

"I will do a straight Telugu film very soon" hero Vishal said "though many producers approached my father for the Telugu remake rights of Pandemkodi. My father did not agree because he knew how difficult it is to be accepted as a hero by the Telugu audiences'. So he did not want me to lose an opportunity like that. I am what I am today because of my father G.K.Reddy and brother Vikram Krishna. I am sure of Pogaru's success because a good team work went into the making of this film."

"Publicity of Pandem Kodi, by G.K.Reddy, impressed me a lot" music director R.P.Patnaik said "Vishal has already proved himself as an actor. I wish that Pogaru will be more successful than Pandem Kodi".

"Vishal is here to stay" actress Shriya Reddy said "he is an amazing action hero. The music is really amazing, so is Reema Sen who is looking really good in the movie. I hope that Pogaru will be as successful as it was in Tamil."

Singer Smita, who sang two songs in the movie, also spoke during the event that was hosted by Raghu Kunche. Aditya Music is marketing the audio of Pogaru.
