Maharadhi - Title Anouncement
Maharadhi has been announced as the title of Balakrishna's latest movie in the direction of Chandramukhi famed director P.Vasu, on 15th October at a press meet held in the city. The film just recently completed its shooting.
Describing the title, writer Thotapalli said "Ma' means Manchitanam. 'Ha Means Hasyam, 'Ra' is Rasikatvam and 'Dhi' is Dheeratvam. All in all Maharadhi means a leader. Almost two years ago Balakrishna called me to Ooty to discuss a storyline. It took me 15 days to write that story down. Later Balakrishna himself chose the director and producer. Pradeep Rawat is portraying the villain's role in the movie. There are altogether 32 characters in the film".
"After nearly 22 years I am producing a movie under Lalitha Kalanjali banner, the same banner that Kodi Rama Krishna and I established back in 1980s. Though we initially established the banner to promote stage plays in our native village, Palakollu, we started producing movies under the same banner in 1984." Producer Vakada Appa Rao said. "Maharadhi is a complete family entertainer that was made under the able and experienced direction of P.Vasu, who has over 54 films to his credit. Music by Guru Kiran is just right for the subject and feel of the movie. We will be announcing the audio release date shortly".
