D. Ramanaidu's "Madhumasam" celebrated its 100 days in a glittering event at Ramaniadu studios on Wednesday night. Legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao was the chief guest for the ceremony. Along with the film's cast Sumanth, Sneha and Parvathi Melton, hero Venkatesh graced the event as star guest. Madhumasam is produced by Ramanaidu and directed by Chandra Siddardha.
Akkineni Nageswara Rao delighted with his grandson Sumanth starrer Madhumasam completing its 100 days. "These days, we are hardly seeing 100 days functions. Not many films are running for that length too. I am happy that Madhumasam achieved that mark and Ramanaidu rightfully celebrating it. Happy occasions are should be celebrated. I saw the film with all my family members and sensed that it would become big hit. I said same thing after I saw Sri Ramadasu. Ramanaidu has not become great producer for not just providing money for films. He involves in every aspect of the film. His contribution in Madhumasam's success can be visible to everyone. I always believe it is more than the actors, it is directors and production values make a film big success, Akkineni praised.
He also complimented his grandson. "There is a scope for an artiste to deliver good emotions. Sumanth has done justice to his role. He is matured a lot. I liked Parvathi's character too. It has good family values," Akkineni said.
Producer Ramanaidu felt that the success was example for team's spirt. "Everyone in the film has contributed to the betterment of the film. When Balapadrapatruni Ramani narrated the story, I felt it can become good hit as it is a clean entertainer. I have planned a film with Sumnath long back but finally we made a good film with him. Sneha did good job. So is Parvathi. Director Chandra Siddardha is a fine technician. I never had a single problem with him. He has good future," Ramanaidu said.
Hero Sumanth said the credit for the success of the film should go to producer Ramanaidu. "He never compromised. He made us work for again for reshoot of the climax sequences as he was not satisfied with it. It shows his grit determination to come with quality product with each film. No wonder than that he's delivered more than 100 hits in his career. I have learnt a lot from Ramanaidu gaaru. His energy at this age is a great inspiration for us," Sumanth narrated.
Directors K Raghavendra Rao, EVV, B. Gopal, MS Raju, Paruchuri Brothers and others also attended the event.
