Director EVV Satyanarayana is directing a film with his guru Bhagyaraja story after a long time. Their first combination film "Abbaigaaru" was a big blockbuster. Now nearly a decade and half later they are working for their new film - "Pellaindi Kaani". The film was launched on Friday (June 1 st) at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.

Also EVV is directing this film for an outside producer after long time. "Pellaindi Kaani"is produced by Raasi Movies's Narasimha Rao.

The lead roles are played by Naresh, Hareesh, Kamalinee Mukherjee and Bhanu Priya. Dasari was the chief guest. K. Raghavendra Rao, A. Kodandarami Reddy, Raviraja Pinisetty, B. Gopal and other cinema personalities had also attended. Dasari clapped on the muhurt shot to the formal direction of Bhagyaraja. K Raghavendra Rao switched on the camera.

"Bhagyaraja is my guruvu. I had worked for various films as assistant and co-director. I had remade his Chinnatambi as Abbayi Gaaru on Rasi Movies banner. You all know how big hit it was. I am glad I am making this film with Baghyaraja's script for same Rasi Movies. Like Aaame, Pellaindi Kaani is meaningful film and has great script. It has sentiments, comedy and family ambience. I cried when I read the script," EVV said.

He also said that the film would bring award for hero Naresh and heroine Kamilini. "I have introduced Harish as hero in Prema Khaidi. Now I am again launching his second innings. He will be remembered for this role for years. Senior actor Bhanu Priya is another strength to our film," EVV narrated.

"I prepared the subject for myself. I had planned a film this in Tamil. When EVV heard the story, he readily asked me to give it for his Teulugu film. I am glad he is doing this and I am also happy tow work with this team," K. Bhagyaraja shared his joy.

Kamalinee Mukherjee and Bhanupriya thanked the filmmakers for their getting a rare chance to be working with a homely team.

Harish said that he is confident that the film would revive his image in the industry. Naresh thanked Bhagyaraja for all his guidance and offer to field him in Tamil version also.
