Comedian turned hero Krishna Baghavan and Simran are acting together in Black & Eight’s “John Apparao 40 Plus”. Kuchipudi Venkat is producing and directing. The film’s shooting is presently being done at Ramoji Film City. A press meet held on Wednesday on location and Simran, Krishna Baghavan, Kuchipudi Venkat, music director Kiran Varanasi and co-producer Anil Kumar Reddy participated in the press meet.

“I liked the story. It is very beautifully written and director is making it very stylishly. Scenes between Krishna Baghavan and me have come out so well so far. There is a comedy as well as suspense in the story that is new experiment.”

“I don’t feel like a hero. The only reason for me acting in the film as lead hero is because Kuchipudi Venkat prepared this in script in such a way. When he first told me that Simran is doing the film, I thought it would not happen. But it has been going smoothly. It is a good comedy movie.”

“80 percent of the shooting is completed. Three songs are left for shooting. One song will be shot at a studio hero. Expectations on the film have already begun. We got good feedback from everyone about the film. I am trying hard to live up to the expectations. We are planning to release the audio in November and the film on January 14th.”
