Director Madan’s latest film, his last being the romantic comedy Pellaina Kothalo, is also a romantic film starring Uday Kiran and Aditi Sharma in the lead. The film’s producer Paruchuri Sivarama Krishna held a press meet wherein the film’s cast and crew spoke about the progress of Gunde Jhallumanadi.
“Almost 95% of the film is complete” producer Sivarama Prasad said “Madan narrated this script to me after I told him that I wanted a college based script. We roped in M.M. Keeravani for the music as the script gives a lot of importance to music. Keervani readily accepted to work for this film”.
“Even though I have composed for over 200 films there are only about 25 films whose music, which I have composed, I take home and enjoy listening too.” Music director Keeravani said “Gunde Jhallumanadi is one of those 25 films. This is the first time that I am composing tunes for a Uday Kiran film. I had saved up a couple of tunes for Uday Kiran before and I got to use them in this film.”
“This is a feel good film and it does not carry any social message like my earlier films” director and the film’s script writer Madan said “The lead characters have a certain innocence that we can identify with. Uday Kiran has improved a lot in his work since I last worked with him for Manasantha Nuvve for which I was a part of the directorial team. Keeravani’s music will be a big plus point for the film.”
“I am confident that the film will do well” Uday Kiran said “Madan has done a very good job. I had a lot of scope for performing in this film. I am absolutely thrilled about Keeravani providing the music for my film.”
