Money Plant Muhurat

A new film ‘Money plant’ which is being produced by Ganesh Kolluri on Sri Raghavendra Art Creations banner has taken off on Monday in Hyderabad. Venkat Gopu is the director. ‘Yuvatha’, ‘Raktha Charitra’ and ‘Back Bench Student’ fame Rudraksha is being introduced as hero through this film. Madhura Sridhar sounded the clap board, while Krishnudu switched on the camera for the muhurat scene. Raj Kandukuri has directed the first scene. Later a press meet was held.

Speaking at the press meet, director Venkat Gopu said, “I’m the indirect disciple of director Rajamouli. I’m making the film with the inspiration of Rajamouli’s ‘Eega’. ‘Money Plant’ is a different film with live and graphics in the lines of ‘Eega’. It is a never seen before concept film not only in Telugu, but also in any language. It’s a science fiction film blended with love and comedy elements. It’s a murder thriller. Usually there is a belief that if we plant a money plant we get lot of money. The film is about the troubles faced by a lovely family in an apartment. I’m sure it will impress all audience.”

“‘Money Plant’ is different film with different story and screenplay and goes on in a thriller mode. We will start the first schedule in the third week of January and it will be completed by the end of February. The film will have 5 songs. Venkat Gopu and Rudraksh are being introduced as director and hero respectively through this film,” said the producer, Ganesh Kolluri.

Addressing the gathering, hero Rudraksh said, “I have acted in the films like ‘Yuvatha’, ‘Raktha Charitra’ and ‘Back Bench Student’ in the past. But, I’m introduced as hero through this film. I feel it as a privilege to act in this different conceptual film. I’m thankful to the director and producers for giving me this wonderful opportunity.”
