Tommy Audio Release

Audio release function of Dr Rajendra Prasad’s upcoming film ‘Tommy’ was took place at Prasad Lab Preview Theatre in Hyderabad on Thursday, February 26. Dasari Narayana Rao launched the first audio CD by presenting it to late sri Chakri’s wife Sravani. Theatrical trailer was launched by Amala Akkineni. The film’s main casts have been portrayed by Dr Rajendra Prasad, Boogie (dog), Sita and LB Sriram. Chegondi Harirama Jogaiah is producing the film on Babu Pictures banner with Raja Vannemreddy as director. Audio was released through Murari Audio.

Speaking at the audio launch function, Dasari Narayana Rao said, “Babu Pictures is like our own banner. Right from ‘Bangaru Thalli’ to this upcoming ‘Tommy’, he did all useful and experimental films. Making ‘Tommy’ like film is more expensive. But, he has been successful to make this film limited resources. Rajendra Prasad is a great actor. He won longevity for himself in his career. He dwelled into the character perfectly. Sita also performed well. Raghu Babu and LB Sriram did outstanding roles. It’s a feel good movie. Audience of some sects are not coming to theatres. To pull in those audience, it needs mouth publicity.”

Speaking on the occasion, Amala said, “I’ve watched ‘Tommy’. Thanks to Jogaiah for making such a nice film. We petitioned government for getting tax exemption on behalf of Animal Welfare Board. I used to watch a lot of such films in my childhood. After watching the film, everyone decides to have a pet dog.”

LB Sriram said, “Though I did casually, my performance got good name. That is only because of the script. Jogaiah always delivers monumental films. My career was started by penning dialogues to Rajendra Prasad.”

Addressing the gathering, Rajendra Prasad said, “Producer is like mother of cinema. I believe that without him, there is no existence in film industry. I’ve crossed many experiences and obstacles in my 37 years cine career. I’ve bagged many unforgettable films like milestones in my career. ‘Tommy’ will become one of them. It’s a must watch for the whole family together. The film depict human values and I’ve acted with due care.”

Raja Vannemreddy said, “’Tommy’ will earn good profits to the producers. We have completed the entire shooting in 30 days. Rajendra Prasad played canine’s owner in the film. Dog kissed Rajendra Prasad on his lips the first time they met. He is a great actor with lot of dedication. Chakri has kept his heart and soul for the music.”

Producer said, “We have decided to screen the preview related to the film on March 1, in Vizag. We will donate the income to reconstruct Vizag and for dog accommodation.”
