The film 'Premrajyam' with Ramkiran and Meerakrishna as hero and heroines is directed by JS.Rao under Sri Hanuman Productions banner was launched at Annapurna Studios. Durgabai switched on the camera and Balaram directed the muhurat shot.

Speaking on the occasion director JSRao said that a message is given in the film that love is slowly diminishing among the people and there is a need to revitalise the same.

Meera Krishna, heroine of the film said that she acted in two Malayalam films earlier and the present film is her first film in Telugu. She expressed her happiness for it.

Ram Kiran, the hero speaking to the media said that he did a film 'Neevente Nenunta' and thanked the director for giving an opportunity to him.

Music director TVSRaju said that there are six songs in the film and his desire was to make one singer to sing all the songs for which the director also agreed to it. He also wished for success of the film.

Raghunadha Reddy said that he is playing father to the heroine and as a Muslim for the first time.
