Popular TV anchor Omkar has launched a production house by name Omkar Entertainments (Pvt) Ltd., and also launched a film titled ‘Genius’ to be made under his own direction. Chinni Krishna has penned the story and also providing the screenplay.
The logo of this film was launched recently at Hyderabad. This logo launching programme was attended by Allu Aravind, K Vishwanath, B Gopal, VV Vinayak, Parachuri Gopala Krishna, Omkar, Chinni Krishna, Aakella Raghavendra and others.
K Vishwanath wished Omkar and said that the film should earn name and fame for Omkar.
“Chinni Krishna’s stories attract one and all. I could see the urge Omkar who wants to prove his talent by working with new artists”, said B Gopal.
Allu Aravind said, “Chinni Krishna is one of the important persons for Bunny becoming a hero because he is one such dedicated writer who writes stories with his soul. Our Geetha Arts would be the first to make the film if Chinni Krishna wants to direct a film. I also wish Omkar a successful film career.”
Omkar said, “Chinni Krishna is the real ‘Genius’ and this title is also given by him. I’m going to be born as a director on July 30th. We are going to give the opportunity to those who are aspiring to come to film industry. We will organize a talent hunt through out Andhra Pradesh. Therefore the interested can meet us at respective places.”
Chinni Krishna said, “Before independence Aryabhatta invented zero in Mathematics. But post independence all our daily needed things are being invented by foreigners only. What is going wrong and where? What are we supposed to learn in schools and what we should avoid will all be showcased in our film ‘Genius’. When Omkar requested me to prepare a good story in order to give life to the talent in our state, it has touched my heart. That is why we are doing this film called ‘Genius’. Aakella Raghavendra lent his helping hand in developing this script.”
Dialogues are penned by Srivissu, camera by Diwakaran, fights by Ram-Lakshman, art by Ashok and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
