Ajay Shanti while speaking, “Abhishekam is a pure Telugu serial being made with complete Telugu nativity. Hence the serial is being received well by the people. The reason for the success is the serial portraying human values. We have celebrated the completion of 100 and 200 episodes. Later the rating has increased after the completion of 600 episodes.”
Bengulluru Padma said, “This serial being made by two big banners. I was introduced to the audience through Eenadu’s banner. Hence I consider it as my home banner. My wish to act in Dasari gari’s serial has now been fulfilled. I thank him for providing this opportunity.”
Dr Dasari Narayana Rao said, “I would like to thank Ramoji Rao for providing the opportunity to telecast the serial ‘Abhishekam’ which has earned huge popularity now. Our association began at the time of my ‘Toorpu Padamara’ film. Although there was a gap between us for some time, that has now become even stronger. I thank the unit for telecasting the serial by keeping trust on us. Most of the artists have second thought when it comes to TV serials. Most of them have formed the opinion that they should prefer serials only when their chances in movies are reducing. But the truth is that one can reach the audience across the globe through TV despite being the small screen. People can recognize the TV artists easily. It was I who first came to the small screen in 1988 and made the serial titled ‘Vishwamitra’. But later when I became busy with other commitments. Since my wife is passionate for serials, I’ve decided to make this serial as per her wish. Making a serial is not an easy task. We can start a serial according to our wish but to end it, it is in the hands of the viewers. We started this serial 3 years ago but I’m still continuing not for the sake of money but to make a good serial. This apart, I’m also doing ‘Thoorpu Padamara’ and ‘Sivaranjani’ serials and due to this I’m providing a life for 200 families. I came to the film industry with empty hands, but today I’m very happy that I’m able to provide the bread for so many families. I’m planning to celebrate this serial in a grand manner like the silver jubilee function of ‘Premabhishekam’. My student Kommanapalli Ganapathi is a talented as well as hard worker and not to speak of Hari Charan and of course Ram Babu’s dialogues. The entire unit deserves the credit for the success of this serial. The artists are also performing very naturally. I’m inspired with the success of this serial, hence I’ll make many more serials.”
