Dhookudu Success Meet

14 Reels Entertainment’s ‘Dookudu’ starring Mahesh Babu under the direction of Srinu Vaitla was recently released and running in theaters with houseful collections. The film is presented by G Ramesh Babu while Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara are the joint producers. The success meet was held at Novotel Hotel in Hyderabad. It was a grand event with the presence of super star Mahesh Babu, super star Krishna, Vijaya Nirmala, Samantha, Sreenu Vaitla, D Suresh Babu, Dr K L Narayana, Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta, Anil Sunkara, Shyam Prasad Reddy, Chandra Mohan, M S Narayana, Kota Srinivas Rao, Rajeev Kanakala, Kona Venkat, SS Thaman, Gemini Kiran, Ramajogayya Sastry, G Aadisheshagiri Rao, Tanikella Bharani, Dharmavarapu Subrahmaniam, Sanjay, Praghathi, Surekhavani, Aditya Menon, Srinivas Reddy, Nazar and others.

Krishna said, “There are many reasons for ‘Dookudu’ to become such a big hit. There are various types of film lovers but this film attracted everyone. This movie is breaking many records. Vijayanirmala said, “As a director I normally try to figure out mistakes while watching the film whereas I was completely lost while watching this film. Mahesh Babu said, “From the day of ‘Dookudu’ release I started working for ‘The Businessman’ without any break and became busy with that project. I already mentioned in the audio function that ‘Dookudu’ will be the biggest hit in my career and the film became all time industry hit. The producers took great care and put in lot of efforts in promoting this film. I’m planning another film with them in the near future. It’s only due to Srinu Vaitla’s hard work for the film to become such a huge hit. Thaman provided sensational music. I learnt a lot from my co-stars in this film. We will be celebrating many more functions in the future. The producers will announce those details.”

Producer Anil Sunkara said, “We planned to make a film in 1989 and kept trying for good opportunities from then onwards. Finally it was due to Srinu Vaitla we have stepped into the film industry. The film achieved all time records only because we have associated with daring and dashing director and daring and dashing hero. ‘Dookudu’ collected Rs 70 crores gross in two weeks and its share was Rs 47 crores and 17 lakhs. The figure will touch 100 on the 50th day. This movie is sure to make Rs 100 crores.”
