It is a wonderful, scenic and poetic journey that brings back the nostalgia of RAMAYANA. This movie is not about actors. It’s about characters. It’s not about spoof jokes or masala elements. It’s about the Morals, culture and Ethics of the yester years folk lore-RAMAYANA.
Bapu has delivered an impeccable, almost next to PERFECT movie without deviating from the original version of Vaalmiki Ramayanam. To be honest, this generation of youth and kids are fortunate enough to have watched this movie in such a grandeur and captivating style. The aura, the excellent performance by Nandamuri Bala Krishna as Sri Rama and Nayantara as Sita is simply impeccable. It is not an exaggeration to say that you only see LORD RAMA in Bala Krishna and Sita in Nayanatara. Credit goes to Bapu and Ramana for delivering a product that deserves a thunderous applause and laurels.
At a time when the telugu Film industry is struck with dubbing movies, spoof comedies, routine mass masala movies, under cop movies, SRI RAMA RAJYAM comes as a breather and as an Eye-opener in regards to proving the Capacity and Excellence of our Telugu artists and technicians. The film is a wonderful Journey of visualistic songs . There is not a single person in the audience that has not wept atleast once watching the KUSA-LAVA song performance briefing the entire Ramayana in front of their grandma- Kousalya.
The Atlanta Film lovers have thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It was a very auspicious sign, by beginning with Pooja and distribution of prasadam . The whole theater at Navrang was decorated with mango leaves known as “thoranaalu” and banana plants. Fireworks were also done by ecstatic fans. TV9 covered the exclusive event.
