Rudhra IPS Muhurat

Raj Krishna as hero and Keerthana Keerthana Podhuval as heroine, ‘Rudra IPS’ is being produced by T Rajasekar Reddy under Ajith Creations banner with T Krishnavenamma. The film was launched with forma Pooja on June 19 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Devi Prasad graced the event as chief guest and sounded the clap board, while President of the directors association Veera Shankar switched on the camera for the muhurat shot and Samudra has directed it. Later, a press meet was held.

In the press meet, hero and producer said, “I have been in the construction field till now. Having great passion on films, I’m acting and producing this film for the first time. Our director is crafting the film with a wonderful story. I hope audience will encourage our first attempt.”

Director Anjan Kumar Cherukuri said, “I’m making my debut as director through this film. Producer was very impressed with the script and accepted to produce this film. The film is an action entertainer which is set on the politics backdrop. Bhanu Chander is playing a honesty politician, while Satya Prakash is playing as an antagonist. Raj Krishna plays Rudra, a powerful IPS officer who fights against the corruption and crime. There will be 5 songs in all. Regular shooting will starts from July 1 and we are planning to wrap it up in September.”

Bhanu Chander said, “I’m doing a different role in the film that is of an honest police officer role. I wish that the first attempt of director and producer will become big success.”

Music director VR Murthy said, “The film will have 5 songs. Re-recording for one song is completed. I’m thankful to the director and producer for giving me this opportunity.”

Speaking on the occasion, heroine Keerthana Keerthana Podhuval said, “I’ve acted in two Kannada films. ‘Rudra IPS’ is my first film in Telugu. My role in the film has ample scope for performance. I’m very happy that I’m entering into the Telugu film industry through this film.”

Addressing the gathering, actor Satya Prakash said, “I was very impressed with the script narrated by director Anjan Kumar Cherukuri. I’m playing a different role which I have not touched till now. The film will be as powerful as the title. I wish all the best to the film unit members.”
