Maitri Muhurat

Hanu Cine Creations has launched a horror film titled ‘Maitri’ at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad today. Rajesh Kumar is producing this film with p Surya Raju as its director. For the muhurat shot Siva Nageshswara Rao sounded the clap board while Rajendra Akula switched on the camera and Nandini Reddy directed the first shot.

Later addressing the media in the press meet producer Rajesh Kumar announced that this is his first production venture and that details of the leading lady and other technicians will be revealed soon.

Director Surya Raju said, “For the past 18 years I’ve been in direction department and worked for about 75 films as assistant director. I also worked under Siva Nageshswara Rao and Nandini Reddy. I’m now making my debut as director through the film titled ‘Maitri’ which belongs to thriller genre. It’s a heroine based film blend with required commercial elements. We will start the regular shooting on 15th May and complete the entire shooting part in just two schedules.”

Music director Vikas who is presently doing the re-recording work said that there are altogether 5 songs in the film. According to him he is going to try some new techniques in DTS mixing and sounding.”

Remaining cast is Kota Srinivas Rao, Brahmanandam, Suman Shetty, Uttej, Thagubotu Ramesh, Krishna Bhagawan, Hamsa Nandini, etc.
