Yuvaratna Balakrishna’s ‘Srimannarayana’ costarring Parvathy Melton and Isha Chawla under the direction of Ravikumar Chavali was released on August 31st. Ramesh Puppala produced it on Yellow Flowers banner with music by Chakri. RR Movie Makers released the film across Andhra Pradesh. The film unit organised a success meet at Taj Deccan Hotel in Hyderabad today. Balakrishna, Ravikumar Chavali, Ramesh Puppala, J.P., Ambika Krishna, Prabhu, Kota Srinivas Rao, Krishna Bhagawan, Jayavani, Gautham Raju, Suresh and other unit members also participated in this success meet.
Addressing the audience Balakrishna said, “I’m very happy to note the grand success of this film which is entertaining people from all walks of life. The job of journalist is to bring out many true incidents to the limelight. There is a saying that knife is sharp on both the edges, similar is the job of journalist. Although this is the first time I did this character I was confident that the Telugu audience will prefer to watch new kind of roles on silver screen. I appreciate Ravikumar Chavali for making me do this role and receive accolades from the audiences. He is a talented director who knows how to extract the expressions and performance from the artists as per his requirements. I’m now confident that he can direct more good films in the near future. Similarly when I came to know that Chakri is going to compose music for ‘Srimannarayana’, I predicted 50% success for the film. However, he has provided more than what is required for the film. So I congratulate him on this occasion. Ghatikachalam’s dialogues are powerful too which I never expected. There is good response for the dialogues from the audience. Both the heroines did justice to their roles. Ramesh Puppala’s production values are excellent. He is also very happy and satisfied with the film’s business. He is one of my favourite producers.” He concluded his speech by thanking his fans and audiences for making the film a grand success.”
Director Ravikumar Chavali said, “Balakrishna and producer Ramesh Puppala are the main persons for the quick completion of the film and releasing it early. Both of them have rendered their full support to me. I’m glad that they have given their moral support and encouraged an upcoming director like me. Music and re-recording work played vital role for the success of the film. I thank the audiences for making it a big hit.”
Kota Srinivas Rao said, “Balayya Babu is the only hero who is hungry to show Telugu cinema on the backdrop of Telugu nativity. Ramesh has great passion for films and he is the apt producer for Balakrishna. His production values are too good. Everyone are appreciating Balakrishna’s dances. His father Rama Rao garu also danced with 18 year old heroine at the age of 63. So I don’t think Balakrishna struggled at this age.”
Music director Chakri said, “All artists and technicians of every film will work hard with the intention of making the film a grand success. So in this line we all have worked hard for this film. The main reason for the great output of songs is the producer’s confidence on me and the director allowing me to work in my own style. I normally sign my deal before starting any project. However due to the producer’s belief in me I did not even spoke about my remuneration till date. He gave everything that I wanted for top quality and as a result the output was great.”
All other guests also spoke on the dais and appreciated the film and congratulated the entire team.
