Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum Pre-Release Press Meet

Filmmaker Krish, who is known for his critical acclaimed films like ‘Gamyam’ and ‘Vedam’, for the first time is coming up with a complete commercial entertainer titled ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’ releasing tomorrow, the 30th of November, 2012. Starring Rana and Nayantara in lead roles he has directed KVJ under First Frame Entertainment banner with musical scores by Mani Sharma. Venkatesh played a cameo role and Sameera Reddy sizzled in an item song with Venkatesh and Rana which is going to be the highlight. Sai Babu Jagarlamudi and Rajeev Reddy are the joint producers. On the eve of the release of the film on Friday, Krish and Rana Daggubati organised a press meet to talk about their film.

Rana said, “Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum which is releasing on Friday is the efforts we have put in for about an year. This is the biggest action adventure movie in my career. It gave me immense happiness and also complete satisfaction. Venkatesh uncle saw this film along with his family today and complimented saying that KVJ is the most wonderful action entertainer in recent times. His words have not only made me happy but also boosted my confidence on the film. We have learnt a lot from each other through this project. Right from my childhood I had passion for characters like Abhimanyu and Ghatotkacha and wanted to play these kind of roles in films. And Krish had fulfilled my desire through this film. I was able to deliver the lenghthy dialogues also with ease since I had good grip on Telugu language. I thank him for directing a movie with a good script. I’m sure this movie will impress all.”

Director Krish said, “KVJ is an out and out commercial cum action adventure. It’s a fiction movie with the incidents occurring in our daily lives. We have not touched the politics anywhere in the film. One should watch this film to watch the great talent of Rana who will be seen in a role of a young guy with the traits of Lord Krishna. This character is suitable only to Rana. Every scene will make the audience glued to their seats. After watching the film the audience will definitely say that Krish directed a wonderful story with an excellent hero like Rana. The movie’s output is so magnificent that I’m very confident about the film. Nayantara’s performance as a journalist is superb. For the first time she has dubbed her own voice. Sirivennela’s lyrics, Mani Sharma’s music, Burra Sai Madhav’s dialogues, Gnahasekhar’s cinematography and Kota garu’s key role are all the highlights of the film. I hope the audience will watch and enjoy the film which is releasing on Friday. I felt very happy when Venkatesh garu called this morning and appreciated the film. Very soon we will be releasing the film in Tamil and Malayalam too.”
