Dalam Audio Release

‘Political thriller ‘Dalam’ starring Naveen Chandra and Piaa Bajpai as lead pair is being directed by Jeevan Reddy. M Sumanth Kumar Reddy is producing this film under Mammoot Media & Entertainments Pvt Ltd., banner with music by James Vasanthan. The music of this film was launched on Saturday evening (December 8) at Rock Heights in Hyderabad. Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry graced the audio function and released the CDs. The first CD was received by Naga Babu. Later Naga Babu, R P Patnaik and ‘Dalam’ unit members felicitated Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry. Other prominent guests were Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao, Deva Katta, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Veeru Potla, Maruthi, Chandra Siddhartha, Bunny Vasu and Parachuri Venkateswara Rao.

Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry said, “Dalam is not the film on naxals or police. It’s a people’s film that revolves around us. The film tells that personal life is not different from the society. The youth today is not expectating only entertainment but also feeling responsible about the society. ‘Dalam’ is exactly the same movie which I wish it will attract all and become a big hit.”

Deva Katta said, “I’ve worked for three films till date but so far I’ve not worked with the living legend Seetama Sastry garu. I wish to work with him very soon. Jeevan narrated the story to me when I met Ram Gopal Varma. I became very curious about the film soon after that. I’ve seen few rushes recently. They are mind-blowing.This movie will definitely bring some progressive change in Telugu cinema. ‘Dalam’ will be a milestone film in James Vasanthan’s career.”

Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao said, “Two weeks ago I saw the teaser of this film on internet. It’s very shocking from technical point of view. Cinematography is extraordinary. Trailers and songs are very promising. All directors coming from the school of Ram Gopal Varma will be strong in technical aspects. I think Jeevan portrayed a new emotion. I wish this music also to become a big hit just like the previous films for James Vasanthan.”

Tammareddy Bharadwaja said, “The title ‘Dalam’ is very promising. The locations and cinematography appear rich in trailers. My best wishes to music director James Vasanthan and the unit members for the success of audio and the film.”

Nagababu said, “My associated with Sastry started from my first film ‘Rudraveena’ for which he wrote all songs. All his songs are classic. He lost the national award for ‘Rudraveena’ with just one vote. If the same award is given now, it becomes prestigious if it is given now. Jeeven is showcasing in this film about the lives of Naxals who surrendered themselves. Naveen Chandra’s performance is very natural. I’ve learnt through this film about the emotions and struggles of naxals afte working for this film.”

Heor Naveen Chandra said, “Abdul Kalam told to make our dreams come true. But even before that I dreamt of becoming an actor and made my dream come true. It was my mother who used to dream a lot about it. Jeeven Reddy saw me in a café and selected me for this role. The reason for the best out come of the film is Jeevan Reddy garu and cinematographer Sudhakar. I hope the movie will entertain all.”

Piaa Bajpai said, “It’s very comfortable working with my costar Naveen Chandra. Jeevan Reddy garu designed the film in a very extraordinary manner. Music is excellent in this film.”

Music director James Vasanthan said, “Dalam is my first straight film. I consider myself lucky to compose music for the lyrics written by the great Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry garu. I hope everyone will like songs.”

Director Jeevan Reddy said, “Dalam is about a young man who hides in forests with a gun for the welfare of the people, but is forced to carry the gun even when he comes to live a normal life amidst the people. The songs written by Sirivennela garu will remain in my heart forever. I don’t deserve to talk about few big personalities but I want to thank all of them for coming to this audio function and blessing us.”

Parachuri Venkateswara Rao, Veeru Potla, Bunny Vasu, Chandra Siddhartha, Maruthi, R P Patnaik and others also appreciated the trailers, poster and music and wished for the success of the film.
