The teaser of Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan and Anjali starrer ‘Balupu’ was launched on Friday evening, the 25th January in Hyderabad. The film is directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Param V Potluri.
Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, Anjali, Gopichand Malineni, Kona Venkat, Babji, Prasad V Potluri and others attended the teaser launch event.
After releasing the teaser Ravi Teja said, “Balupu is my second film with Gopichand. It’s an action entertainer. Both Shruti and Anjali gave wonderful performances. I’ve done many characters written by Kona Venkat. I’m impressed with this character as well. Teaser is superb. Thaman provided excellent musical scores which are the highlight of the movie. Our producer has come to this status from zero level just like me.”
Shruti Haasan said, “For the first time I did a comedy oriented role. I loved the positive energy in this film. I’m very happy to work with Ravi Teja.”
Anjali said, “Balupu is a Ravi Teja mark film. He has given me good support and encouraged me on the sets. He is very lively in real life just the way he is on screen. I wanted to act with him once again.”
Kona Venkat said, “We have prepared this script keeping Ravi Teja in mind. The title ‘Balupu’ is connected to the hero character only.”
Producer Prasad V Potluri said, “Ravi Teja is my school mate who earned this status through his hard work. I’m very happy to do our banner’s debut film with him. Gopichand is doing a great job.”
Director Gopichand Malineni said, “Balupu will have all those elements which the audience expects in Ravi Teja’s films. The teaser will display only 10% of the film while the movie is a complete meal to the audience. I’m very happy to work under PVP banner. My first film with Ravi Teja is unforgettable in my life. Shruti Haasan did an energetic role in this film, just the way Ravi Teja did in ‘Don Seenu’. Her role in this film is quite contrast to her role in ‘Gabbar Singh’. The scenes in the combination of Shruti, Brahmanandam and Ravi Teja are superb. We did this film since the spark in Baabi’s story attracted us. Anjali signed our film even before ‘Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ even without listening to the script. We knew that she is the aptly suitable heroine for this role.”
