Shadow Press Meet

Victory Venkatesh, Srikanth, Taapsee and Madhurima starrer ‘Shadow’ that took shape in the hands of director Meher Ramesh is all set to hit screens worldwide on March 27th. Shooting is presently being held in Nanakramguda in Hyderabad. Parachuri Sivarama Prasad is producing the film under U-Square Movies Ltd., with Parachuri Kireeti as the presenter. A press meet was held at the shooting location to brief the film’s progress. Venkatesh, Srikanth, Naga Babu, Meher Ramesh, Nassar, Kona Venkat and producer Parachuri Sivarama Prasad were the prominent people who attended the press meet.

Speaking to the media Venkatesh said, “We need to have a wonderful team while doing a good commercial film and this film exactly has that. Mehar Ramesh is doing complete justice to this film. He is working extremely hard to maintain the high technical standard. His energy levels are fantastic. He designed my character differently in order to show me from a new angle which itself appears fresh. ‘Shadow’ is not just for mass audience as the film will entertain the family audience also. After ‘Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’, this movie with total contrast content is going to release in summer. There is tremendous response for the trailers from fans, media and industry. I’m sure the movie will be a big hit. We are releasing the film on March 27th.”

Srikanth said, “All my films in the combination of Venkatesh garu are hits. I played the role of a police officer which I’ve not done it before. Shadow is a mix of entertainment and action.”

Meher Ramesh said, “We began the film last January 26th. ‘Shadow’ is a mix of glamour and humor. The hero introduction will become a trend setter. I wanted to do a complete commercial entertainer with mass elements. This movie will attract people from all walks of life, be it children, ladies or elders. Venky and Srikanth did very risky fights in this film, especially the chase scene shot in Malaysia will surpass ‘Billa’ movie. Every scene will entertain the audience. There are many elements which the audience wouldn’t expect from Venky. The sentiment of a movie becoming a super hit in the combination of Venky-Srikanth will definitely prove once again. Nagababu’s role has also come out well. M S Narayana will be called as a third hero.”

Producer Parachuri Sivarama Prasad said, “This story was narrated by Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan to me during the time of ‘Dookudu’. Both of them were very confident about the film becoming 100% hit. The output is fantastic than what we expected. We have purposefully delayed this movie because we wanted to release it after ‘Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’. We will release the audio in 1st week of March and release the movie either on March 27th or 29th. We are confident that ‘Shadow’ will surpass our ‘Simha’ film.”

Nagababu said, “We have seen Venkatesh mostly in family oriented movies. However, he is capable of doing films like ‘Gharshana’ provided the director is energetic. Venkatesh is sure to taste another hit with this film in 2013. On the other hand, Meher Ramesh will become Shadow Ramesh after the release of this film.”

Kona Venkatesh said, “Many are thinking that it’s a mafia movie. But this is a revenge entertainer mixed with family sentiment. It has all elements like films in 70s and 80s. Taapsee and Srikanth’s roles will connect well with the audience.”

Nassar said, “I’m doing films continuously with Meher Ramesh. I got recognition in Telugu through Venkatesh’s ‘Chanti’ only. Venkatesh is such a huge mass hero that the people in villages still remind me that movie. ‘Shadow’ will be a double mass film.”
