Prabhas, Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyay starrer ‘Mirchi’ which was written and directed by Koratala Shiva and jointly produced by Vamsikrishna Reddy and Pramod was released on February 8th. On the occasion of the film running in theaters with success talk, a success meet was organised on Monday night in Hyderabad. Prabhas, Richa Gangopadhyay, Anushka, Dil Raju, Koratala Shiva, art director A S Prakash, Ramajogayya Sastry, producers Pramod and Vamsikrishna Reddy participated.
Prabhas said, Koratala Shiva is the main reason for the artists best performance in the film. He has good visual power and can write stories belonging to any genre. Dialogues are impressive. I even liked the romantic scenes in this film. Hence I wanted to do a romantic film with him. Devisri became my good friend during ‘Varsham’. His music compositions attract even the kids. I love the songs in this film. Richa lived with her character. Anushka is golden heroine who is understanding and good at maintaining a comfortable atmosphere on the sets. I’m very happy to have worked with Satyaraj.”
Anushka said, “I played the girl Vennela in this film. I thank director Shiva for designing my character beautifully. I thoroughly enjoyed while shooting for this film. I like the song ‘pandage dhigi vachche…’ because it’s very heart-touching and made my eyes wet.”
Richa Gangopadhyay said, “Mirchi is one of the best films in my career. I’m very happy to note the success of this film after ‘Mirapakay’. I can never forget my character in this film that touched my heart.”
Koratala Shiva said, “Prabhas’s trust on my story has become true today. Both the heroines have given their soul to their roles. I can never forget the support of my technicians. My producers have trusted me and handed over such big responsibility.”
Producers said, “Director Shiva did a wonderful job despite being his directorial debut movie. He portrayed Prabhas in an outstanding manner. ‘Mirchi’ will be the biggest successful movie in Prabhas’s film career.”
