Telugulo Naaku Nachani Padam Prema Muhurat

Introducing Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry’s son Shankar and director P Vasu’s son Shakti as heroes with Poorna of ‘Avunu’ fame as heroine, producer H D Narayana Babu has launched a movie titled ‘Telugulo Naaku Nachhani Padam Prema’ under his banner Apple Blossom Creations Pvt Ltd., with Raghava as director. The film launch took place at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad on Thursday. While Vasundhara Das sounded the clap box, Seetarama Sastry switched on the camera and P Vasu directed the muhurat shot.

Later addressing the media Vasundara Das offered her best wishes to the entire team and said that she had become close to the Telugu audience through ‘Bol Baby Bol’.

Seetarama Sastry said, I personally like the word ‘Prema’. But off late it’s giving wrong meaning. I’m very glad to note that this movie has been launched on the Valentine’s day. Apple Blossom produced several films in Kannada and Tamil. Films directed by Raghava won awards and rewards. I wish this film will earn good name and profits. P Vasu surpassed his father and I wish his son will do the same. I'm also encouraging my children to come up in the field they have chosen. This movie will enlighten the real meaning of love.”

P Vasu said, “My father Pitambaram is well known to Telugu people. While I got introduced as director, my son is getting introduced as hero. It's a huge loss to Tamil industry after Telugu film industry got shifted to Hyderabad because all tasteful technicians are in Telugu industry. NTR, Balakrishna, Mohan Babu, Dasari garu, all of us used to be like one family. I’ believe that the Telugu audience will encourage my son. Even though the actors have the power to pull the crowd to theaters, it’s the director who can make them sit and watch the film for 2 ½ hours. Seerama Sastry’s son Shankar will appear like a beautiful poem on silver screen. Poorna looks beautiful. I’ve seen few Kannada films which the producers have made. This movie should be released in Tamil also.”

Raghava said, “This movie depicts a different dimension of love. So far no one tried this concept. We are doing it in a different dimension. I’m sure it will not be a routine film. I believe that dad holds a lot of responsibility in his job. The audience must watch and film and give their opinion.”

Shakti said, “I’m doing a Telugu film for the first time. You all know my grandfather and father very well. I will definitely talk in Telugu by the time this film will get completed. I’m not finding it different to say dialogues in Telugu. I heard that the technicians here will not compromise on quality. I’m sure that the audience will make the film a big hit if the film is good.”

Shankar thanked his director and producer for choosing him in the film.

Poorna commented, “This film is as big film as ‘Avunu’ for me. It will surely turn into next step for my career.”

Presenter Poornima Narayanan said, “For the first time we are making a Telugu film and we are moving forward with a good story.”

Shooting will be held in Hyderabad, Vizag, Araku, Talakona, Kerala and Rajasthan.
