Pavithra Audio Release (Set 3)

The grand audio launch of Shirya Saran, Roja, Sai Kumar, Kaushik Babu, Tanikella Bharani and AVS starrer ‘Pavithra’ took place in Vizag on Saturday evening (April 6th, 2013). The film is directed by Janardhan Maharshi and produced by K Sadak Kumar and Maheshwara Reddy on Aadesh Films. M M Srilekha has provided the soundtrack for this female centric film. Bellamkonda Suresh, V N Aditya, Shriya Saran, Kaushik Babu, Sai Kumar, Meena Kumari and other unit members attended the function. Bellamkonda Suresh released the audio CDs and presented the first copy to Shriya.

Later addressing the gathering Shriya said, “I’m very happy to note that the audio function of ‘Pavithra’ is being held in Vizag. We have shot major part of the film here. I’m also happy to be part of this wonderful project. Janardhan Maharshi crafted ‘Pavithra’ beautifully. It’s very difficult to portray one such character. But I was able to do it easily with the help of Maharshi. I did this film wholeheartedly. My producers treated me like a queen. Srilekha rendered excellent music. I’m glad to work with her. Camaraman Suresh Kumar captured me very beautiful. ‘Pavithra’ will be my career best character. The film is very realistic along with a good message and thought-provoking dialogues. I’m confident about its success. I will meet you all in Vizag again in 100 days function.”

Director Janardhan Maharshi said, “K Vishwanath and K Balachander are my two gurus. There is no subject which Balachander never touched. He does every subject in a peculiar way. So inspired by that I too wanted to try something different as a writer and director. Hence I took up the challenge and did this film. I choose the title ‘Pavithra’ with the intention of crafting it as a clean film. Producers of this film are in the industry for the past 30 years and have financed for more than 1000 films. However, they have come forward to do the film with me knowing that I’m a small director who directed a film like ‘Devasthanam’. The main reason is the title ‘Pavithra’ made them take the decision of doing a film with me. It’s a lady oriented film for which Shriya is the aptly suitable heroine. Srilekha provided songs that are suitable to the story. I’m sure it will a good film.”

According to producers ‘Pavithra’ will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages at the same time. They claimed that a sequel ‘Parliament Lo Pavithra’ will also be made soon.
