RP Entertainments is coming up with a female oriented movie titled ‘O Malli’. The film sees Ramya Sri in title role. Interestingly the film was also directed by her. Logo and trailer of this film was released at Prasad Labs on Thursday. Ashok Kumar released the posters while the trailer was released by Ramesh Puppala.
Ashok Kumar said, “Ramya Sri discussed about this film with me earlier. But I suggested her not to risk by directing the film going by today’s situation. When I met her recently, I was shocked to know that the film was sent for censor certificate. So far we have seen Ramya Sri as an actress but we are going to see her directorial skills in this film. I was amazed to know her inner talent. Tears literally rolled down my cheeks when she narrated the story to me. The movie will certainly win an award if she had projected the story on the screen the way she narrated it to me. Climax is wonderful. Koti garu also appreciated the film. I’m very happy to see yet another lady director in the Telugu industry.”
Ramesh Puppala said, “I really appreciate Ramya Sri for making her debut as director with a subject based on atrocities on women. I wish a big success for this film that has a wonderful story. I also wish for an award for this film.”
Ramya Sri said, “I acted in many films. But this is my first directorial film. I had this story in mind for the past 14 years. I wanted to direct this film by myself since I felt that only I can do justice to it. My most unforgettable moment is when Jesudas garu called me over phone and appreciated the songs. I’m sure everyone will like this film.”
Producer Prashanth said, “Ramya Sri directed this film like a senior director. When I heard her story narrated I decided that it’s going to be a big hit.”
