Nayaki Press Meet

‘Nayaki’ that features Trisha, Ganesh Venkatraman, Satyam Rajesh and Sushma Raj in key roles, is being presented by Raj Kandukuri. Giridhar Mamidipalli and Padmaja Mamidipalli are producing the film under Giridhar Production house with Govi Giverdhan as director. First schedule related to the film has been completed. On this occasion, the film unit has arranged press meet on Thursday, i.e. on September 10, at FNCC in Hyderabad.

Speaking at the press meet, Giridhar said, “I’ve worked as manager for Trisha for some years. I’m thankful to her for giving me this opportunity. I was very impressed by the horror script narrated by Govi and within five minutes I have decided to do the film. We are making the film simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. We are making the film as a horror entertainer by keeping Trisha’s image in mind. Trisha will appear in a different look. Her role in the film has ample scope to perform. Satyam Rajesh is being introduced to Tamil industry.”

Ganesh said, “As he said in the past, Giridhar garu has given me this opportunity. I was new to acting when I was doing ‘Aakasamantha’ with Trisha. She is my first heroine. Our pair in ‘Nayaki’ will be very unique. I’m very happy to be working with Govi.”

On this occasion, Raj Kandukuri said, “I was very impressed by the horror script narrated by Govi and therefore I have decided to do the film. I’m sure the film will stand out as unique in Trisha’s career.”

Sushma Raj shared, “I’ve good relationship with the team. I’m very happy to be working with Trisha. I’m playing a crucial role in ‘Nayaki’.”

Addressing the gathering, Govi said, “After ‘Love You Bangaram’, I’m working on this script for one and half years. Main role has two variations in the film. The story needs 18 year old girl and at the same time it needs somewhat matured person. Immediately Trisha strike in my mind. I’m a big fan of her. Rajamouli garu tweeted me by seeing our poster. It’s an unforgettable thing. Raghu Kunche said that he will ask Trisha to render her voice for a song.”

Speaking on the occasion, Trisha said, “Govi approached me with a bound script. Within five minutes I decided that this is a hit script. I have two getups in the film. The story is set in the backdrop of 1980’s. I’m director’s actress. I’ll do what they teach. All characters in the film have equal importance. I’ very happy that I’m doing my favourite genre.”

Sushma Raj, Cameramen Jagadish and Padmaja Mamidipalli and some others were present at the press meet.

Brahmanandam, Jaya Prakash, Manobala, Kovai Sarala, Madhavi Latha, Sentrayan, Jeevi, Adurs Raghu, Shakalaka Shankar and Chammak Chandra are playing important roles in the film.
