Sathi Thimmamamba Audio Release

Audio launch of Historical film ‘Sathee Thimmamamba’ starring Sri Venkat and Bhavya Sri in the lead roles, was held on Thursday evening, on October 8 in Hyderabad. Nandamuri Balakrishna launched the first CD and handed it over to AP minister Paritala Sunitha and Palle Raghunadha Reddy. Naveen played the villain. Peddarasu Subramanyam is producing this film on SSS Art Creations banner with Balagonda Anjaneyulu as director.

Balakrishna, who launched the audio CD, said, “Thimmamamba Marri which is located at Ananthapuram is very famous. I’m very happy that the historic story is being made as a film. I’ve learned from my father that how to respect women. I wish that ‘Sathee Thimmamamba’ which is coming with the story of a women, will become big success. I will always give my support to such films.”

Speaking at the audio launch event, director Balagonda Anjaneyulu said, “After I readied the script, I have watched the first half of ‘Bhairava Dweepam’ several times. It’s impossible for us to make the film in that range. But, we crafted ‘Sathee Thimmamamba’ wonderfully in our standards.”

Producer Subramanyam, who is the clan of Thimmamamba, said, “Thimmamma remained in the hearts of Telugu people for her great dead. A banyan tree has taken life from the place where she sacrificed her life and this which has 600 years history has become the world’s largest tree which stretched more than 7.5 acres and won the place in gunnies book of world record. People offer prayers to this Thimmamma marri chettu (banyan tree) which is located at Gootibayalu Village in Ananthapur district. And they believe that she is still alive in the form of banyan tree. They named it as Thimmamma/Thimmamamba Marri Chettu. I’m proud to bring this historic story to the present audience. I’m making this film not to make profit but to bring this legendry story to the present generation.”

Vinod Kumar, Ranganath, Chandra Mohan, Suman, Prabhakar, Suman Shetty, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Jr. Relangi, Chitti Babu, Aakella, Rajendra, Bombay Padma and Rajasri are playing important roles in the film.
