Sathee Thimmamamba Press Meet

Historical film ‘Sathee Thimmamamba’ starring Sri Venkat and Bhavya Sri in the lead roles, has completed the shooting part and currently post-production works are progressing. Naveen played the villain. Peddarasu Subramanyam is producing this film on SSS Art Creations banner with Balagonda Anjaneyulu as director. To brief about the film’s details, thefilm unit has arranged press meet.

Speaking at the press meet, director Balagonda Anjaneyulu said, “I’ve penned ‘Sathee Thimmamamba’ novel in 2012 with the idea to make it as a folklore film. Though the film was made as a folklore, it has all elements which will impress all sects of audience. We crafted ‘Sathee Thimmamamba’ wonderfully in our standards. It is the historic story of Thimmamma marri chettu. Producers have made the film without compromising in any aspect. Recently released audio has got good response.”

Producer Subramanyam, who is the clan of Thimmamamba, said, “‘Sathee Thimmamamba’ is a historical film related to two royal families. We have wrapped up the shooting part within 3 months. Music has got good response. Currently post-production works are nearing completion and we are planning to release the film in December.”

Hero Venkat said, “Thimmamma remained in the hearts of Telugu people for her great dead. A banyan tree has taken life from the place where she sacrificed her life and this which has 600 years history has become the world’s largest tree. I’m proud to be part of this historic story. I’m thankful to the director and producers for giving me this opportunity.”

Vinod Kumar, Ranganath, Chandra Mohan, Suman, Prabhakar, Suman Shetty, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Jr. Relangi, Chitti Babu, Aakella, Rajendra, Bombay Padma and Rajasri are playing important roles in the film.
