Oopiri Trailer Launch

Trailer launch event of King Nagarjuna, Tamil actor Karthi and Milky Beauty Tamanna starrer ‘Oopiri’ was held at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad on March 10. Yuva Samrat Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Youth King Akkineni Akhil, who graced the event as chief guests, have launched the trailer of the film. Later a press meet was held. Yuva Samrat Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, Youth King Akkineni Akhil, director Vamshi Paidipalli, producer Prasad V Potluri and writers Abburi Ravi and Hari were present at the press meet.

‘Oopiri’ was made with the great combination of King Nagarjuna, who joined 50 Crores club with ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, ‘Aavara’ Karthi and Milky Beauty Tamanna. This Telugu Tamil bilingual film is being produced by prominent producer Prasad V Potluri and Kavin Anne under the banner PVP Cinemas. Young director Vamshi Paidipalli, who is known with the films ‘Munna’, ‘Brindavanam’ and ‘Yevadu’ has directed this prestigious film.

Speaking at the event, Naga Chaitanya said that the film is an emotional journey and opined, “My father is becoming younger day by day. Vamshi, who is known for making mass films, is trying different films. PVP garu is the perfect person to make such kind of films. We can understand the hard work of the team by watching the trailer. Everyone will like ‘Oopiri’ for sure.”

Wishing all the best to the team, Youth King Akkineni Akhil said, “When I first listened to few lines of the script, I didn’t like to see my father doing wheelchair role. After listening to the entire script, I was very excited. I would like to thank Vamshi for making such a wonderful film with my dad. Trailer is very impressive. My father is my heart and soul. The film is the two years emotional journey of the team. We can find the depth with the trailer. Vamshi has crafted ‘Oopiri’ beautifully. PS Vinod, who stood as backbone for ‘Manam’, has done excellent job for this too. We can see high standard visuals in the film. ‘Oopiri’ is an emotional journey with the great combination of dad, Karthi, Vamshi and PS Vinod. I’m sure the film will impress everyone.”

Producer Prasad V Potluri said, “We have started the film in 2014. It’s a two years journey. We have taken due care to maintain the essence of the original script and went on to the sets with fully developed script. The film came out wonderfully. I’m confident that the film will become one of the best films in Nagarjuna’s career and it will stand out as one of the finest films for our banner. We have made the film lavishly in Telugu and Tamil with the budget of Rs 60 Crores all together. The film was shot in Paris and Belgium. World-class technicians have worked for this film. Mass director Vamshi has crafted the film in a classy way. PV Vinod’s visuals are extraordinary. I wish and hope that the film will impress everyone and become big hit. After completing all formalities, we are planning to release the film worldwide in Telugu and Tamil languages on March 25.”

Director Vamsi Paidipalli said, “This is our new attempt. Without Nagarjuna, Karthi and PVP garu, there is no ‘Oopiri’. Producer must have guts to make such a film. We have shot the film in the costly city like Paris for 12 days. It’s a memorable journey for everyone in the team. ‘Oopiri’ is the first film which is releasing for this summer. It’s like a cool breeze for this summer. We are coming to the audience with ‘Oopiri’ on March 25. We are waiting with excitement.”

King Nagarjuna, ‘Aavara’ Karthi, Milky Beauty Tamanna, Sahajanati Jaya Sudha and some other prominent cast are playing important roles in this prestigious multi-starrer film.
